earlier last year i took a photo of a lone cow standing matter-of-factly in front of a wreck of a barn, calmly chewing away... over the holidays, knowing that my friend lynell (tennesseecowgirl) is seriously into cows, i referenced the photo (still in my nikon) to compose this sketch, one of the very few (by that i mean two) sketches i've been inspired to complete since the onset of parkinson's commenced over a decade ago. (as this inspiration found me in a cabin sans eraser and with what, after much scrounging, barely even qualified as a pencil, y'all will have to forgive me its rough appearance.) anyway, i then took a picture of my sketch and postworked it in picmonkey as i would one of my old-timey photos to add the sepia tone, fading, etc. today the caption popped into my mind, and i figured maybe i'd offer it as a post-holiday stress-reliever to lynell and all the rest of you coming off the holidays to stand face-to-face with new year's resolutions and other manifestations of life 'the morning after'... :) all the best to all of you in this new year! link to my last image, 'bumblebutt':
