Description

My wife sometimes, after looking at one of my images like this one, asks me why I spend days and days working on a picture that is so boring. My response is I am trying achieve tranquility not drama in my art; my aim is to draw the viewer's awareness – and more to the point my own -to moments during daily routines when we just breathe in and we breathe out; when the (conscious) mind is almost perfectly still; and when we are unconsciously ourselves without vanity or guilt. The hours upon hours we all get lost in doing Daz, Poser, etc., serve as a kind of working mediation, or so it seems to me. I doubt I am alone in thinking and feeling this.

I see I misspelled "meditation" altho "mediation" is an interesting Freudian slip.

Being somewhat involved with "eastern philosophy" myself, I find your explanation quite esoteric and to the point. Really nice handling of a rather pedestrian subject. I too, am immediately drawn into the quietness of the moment. Very nice, "X".

First I like your image being so realy daily. Second I agree that the world of 3D is a special feeling for some of us that outsiders don't understand. It is harmless and keeps us from doing wrong things and getting bored. Keep up the good art of 3D 'realism'. I love it.

I like your words, I think that the time past for doing images is out of the time..... Your image is very well done, the POV and the props are well chosen !

My young niece spent last summer at my home and not more than once, did I come home to see her in the den. With the TV on her laptop on her lap and yes just like this... her head phones on..... are you looking in my windows :-) Fantastic

Wonderful render! I like your explanation of the creative process. This image is very peaceful and played out every day across the world. I don't find it boring at all.
