My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

A thousand reflections of who, what, we are. Hanging in our imagination just above and below the that place where all our dreams are born. Let not the darkness invade our soul, let not the night into our hearts, celebrate the light and cry - I was here, I passed this place once and left all that I am in a reflection.

Visions of Dale Chihuly, maybe his glass art was inspired by these funky looking fishing floats ? Either way, nice composition and capture ! ~Cheers~

Very decorative. Although my eye wanders to the reflections .... and I can see you.... smile ... Cool image!

Hanging by a thread. Aren't we all. I looked at this and thought they looked like floats. And then I read your description. They really are quite attractive. Excellent catch.
durleybeachbum
They do look great, but I think they should be displayed outside in the wet. I have two green ones in my pond.

Sometimes the way you perfectly caption your photos just amazes me. That jukebox in your head does not take up all the space because there sure is a whole lot of creativity there as well. Thanks for sharing that creativity with us here. :)

... and they all come in my 'other' favourite colours ;P Summer can't be far off now - for you guys, but as you are always on the move, I do suppose, you can pick and choose some of the more favourable climates ? and then it's time time to go fishing or just take impressions with your camera of all you want ... and this one is like a Glockenspiel - just don't hit it too hard, LOL BB

Nice shot Tara. Glad you mentioned them to be fishing floats, I would have guessed Christmas ornaments!

Aaah, sing along you lovely hanging balls, and let's dance. I love this photo, again I'm fascinated by seeing it, my friend. I like the idea of have a jukebox in your brain. But, where must I throw the coin in, to choose my song, dear Tara?
