That is probably the worst type of tag ever conceived. I find it disgusting that people would tag geese this way and I will personally remove any I can get my hands on!

Good Lord, poor guy. Every time he eats that tag is gonna be sliding and banging into the base of his head. While I can concieve of this making for easy observation, it seems a very poorly thought out tag from the animals point of view.

I wonder if the tagged ones are embarrassed around their untagged friends? And it seems like a dangerous thing for them to have to wear, what if it gets caught on something? You got a great shot of this bewildered bird!

Geez, could they have made that tag any bigger?! I think I'd agree with the rest of the bunch about personally taking it off this poor little guy any chance I got. It is a superb capture though, my Friend! I love the green grass in the background!
