Description
Captured 1/8/14, moments after exiting the usually congenial confines of my condominium complex.
I like the subtle herringbone cloud effect.
A ZOOM is always wise.

I decided to comment on all 3 of these, to get at the differences in a series. Yes, I can see the herringbone effect; and there are several varieties of them, too. The sun, here, is on the other side from number 3; and it's partly hidden by the tree, allowing the tree (or trees) to be partly dissolved by its rays. And again we see the changing hues as the light courses across the horizon. Your ground is much higher here, allowing us to see more tree tops, with that feather-duster feel from all those palm trees---a silhouette hardly any other tree offers, at least that I've seen. And an array of building tops and telephone poles, etc, speckle the bottom too. I assume it takes some thought to balance the two different types of light in shots like these, either via camera-work or postwork; since you've got pronounced dark on ground level and sweeps of light at sky level, Several cloud types here too. (I know nothing of your skies, but from what you've said in several uploads, these skies are less common than uncommon; so I take it you can't get captures like this very often. Which must make getting them special.) Fine sky and sunrise work, with all the mysteries intact...
