Sadie lives in this part of the desert and has no intention of sharing her most valuable resource. (it may look like a lot of water for a desert, but it is only a couple inches deep, at least that's my story) Thanks for the peek best in zoom.

Love this one....the harshness of the desert behind her and the precious water she guards. More valuable than anything on earth, especially in a desert, and she guards it well! I think anyone would be a fool to try and press her on the issue, not with that gun in her hand. My favorite part of the whole picture is that brilliantly bright blanket...such a surprise of color. It makes me think of beautiful blankets woven by Native Americans, especially those who lived in the desert, such as the Navajo, who use brilliant color in their weavings. Gorgeous work!
