Sorry I've been busy, but managed to finish off some UVs & added insignia & rank, finished off the Helmets, Bustina 38 & 42, Fez, Alpini Hat & added a set of goggles with 5 morphs to add more diversity. Also finished the breeches & smoothed them out, textured the puttees. For the enlisted men textures it's a question of a few more insignia. For the officers thats still to come. Added a captain rank & gold bullion to the bustina 38 to denote an officer, the peaked 42 bustina was setup as an enlisted cap. The helmets have the option of getting different unit stencils for even more diversity. The Italian army started of WWII in East Africa (Eritrea & Ethiopia) with a very diverse army, units included Alpine, Bersaglieri, Carabinieri, Infanteria as early as april 1940. As the desert war went on the Italian gear adopted itself constantly until 1943, as Italy capitulated. The research for this project is very time consuming because of the very nature of the army's diversity. The next step is to rigg the gear. Thank you for looking
