Description

"Blazing Summer Heat" *I remember where I grew up in Los Angeles California. when the heat of summer began warming up the city, and the small hills like where I lived would have plenty of dry brush that would start fire. My friends and I would sit out on the front lawn and have hot dogs and lemonade while we watched as the hills burned. Then we would see the fire engines show up and start blasting the fire with water. Never saw anyones home burn or anyone get hurt, but when summer was about to begin, where I lived, the hills that we watched, would become a land on fire in the Blazing Summer Heat. Hey Mike, Yeah it was cool to watch, glad nobody gotr hurt. Usually the firemen would let so much of it burn off so further fires wouldn't start. They only did that though after they had control of it. Then would light fire in other places and let that burn until they would then hose it off. It was cool to watch that every summer! Thanks for the comment and the favoring of it too! Have a great week Mike! JM

Hey Drakk, You wish? What do you wish? That you could have blazing fires in your neighborhood? Or that you could roast marshmallows while bushes are a burnin! lol Or is it just cold where you are and the likelyhood of this happening anywhere near you is highly unlikely? Either way, it's still fire and extremely dangerous when out of control...that's for sure! Thanks for commenting my friend! JM

Fantastic image and colors, John. I am always amazed that Nature can be so cruel and yet so beautiful at the same time. Corrie

Hi Corrie, Thanks so much Darlin! Yes it is so true that nature is so dangerous and cruel and even wicked and unfair sometimes...but whatever it is, the final outcome is always good, healthy and most of the time very beautiful as you stated! Thanks for your comment hun! JM

I love this switchup on your standard color pallet. This is so perfectly dramatic.

Hey Wolf, Yeah, well, considering it's cold just about everywhere, I thought those that were dealing with those frosty days and nights could use a good fire and some heat for a change along with a good marshmallow roasting scene! Thanks for your comment my friend! JM

Fabulous work! This is a very different look for you. In this drab, wintery climate it is a welcome change.
