vlekken oehoe or spotted eagle owl (bubo africanus) with the most amazing eyes of all? (s)he would NOT look at me!! tsss. but then, I didn't pay much... this very same owl featured in a -national- tv commercial -I was told-, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HN8ImyvkhU8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7yv4pYTDmE at 1st I didn't want to use any flashguns near the owls so another grainy 'useless' pic TYallSM for your wonderful comments (& fav.s!) on previous pic!! that wasn't me with the owl btw -my pic was hidden in an album ;-) -

Oh my, that feathered predator has a 'suspicious and losing patience' expression all over its face. Just look at those eyes, burning a hole through the lens of your camera. Otherwise, a really neat shot, even without the use of a flash, Angie.

This might be the owl that says "Who, Who" when his wife is talking to him about one of her friends at her work. LOL!!!!! The wife just gives up on talking to him after that. LOL!!!!
