Description

2004 Was a fantastic year for me. 10 years ago, on this date, I smoked my last cigarette. Never looked back. And still darn proud of it, too. 2004 was the year I finally managed to go outside again, after almost 18 years of staying indoors because of streetfear. The streetfear is still here, but I am the boss, for now. ;-D I made a train trip to Vienna, Austria, in June 2004. I don't like train travels, but I wanted to visit an on line friend and her family. It was fantastic! In September 2004 my doggie, Jackie came by me. She was 3 year then, so she'll be 13 this year, in August. And she'll be with me for 10 years. I'll be 65 next June. Belonging to the oldies, then. hehehe Everything made by me in Bryce7. Notice the puffs of dust in the ashtray and on the cigarette. ;-) Corrie

Congratulations! Those are indeed a milestones to be proud of. I quit in August of 1981 and can't even stand the thought of smoking now. I'll be 62 in April so we are in the Oldies Group together. GO GRAY!!

Congratulations! Conquering that street fear must have been pretty tough! I quit smoking when cigarettes reached the ungodly price of two dollars a carton.

Hi Peedy, you must be so very proud of yourself, overcome all these obstacles, for myself I quit smoking 4 years ago, never thoughed a sigarett again. It's nice to look back,and to see that there where many happy things in the past 10 years,
