fed up with -an overload of- owls yet? ?? ;-D oehoe aka eurasian eagle owl aka bubo bubo is considered to be the largest owl on the planet with a wingspan between 160 & 188 cm (63 - 74 inch) love the eyes!! background (still) s*cks, sorry! (PS. listening to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOA-2hl1Vbc love it!!! -very loud through ear phones- )

As far as I know, the eagle owl is the largest owl. A magnificent animal! Wonderful shot! More owls, more owls! ;-)
