Description

Photo of an alien plant, taken on my last expedition to the outer rim. Of course, it's actually a render of a model I did in 3dsmax 2012, using a variety of experimental techniques. Began as a series of interwoven splines, lofted, and given displacement. I used a Maxscript to mathematically interweave the splines based on some algebraic coordinates, and Corona renderer to render the result.
