I really like the lighting from the fires in this, adds a lot of drama - but I fear you have made a classic mistake! There are several swords that are featured in Arthurian legend, and the Sword in the Stone is not Excalibur (which was given to Arthur later by the Lady of the Lake). Not that it detracts from your image though - great work!

While I also appreciate the lighting of and in the scene, I am even equally impressed by how realistically the robes and capes hang on your characters. More times than not these garments appear fake. Anyway, the entire image is well done, and I hope to see more images from you with more frequency in the future. By the way, I subscribe to your version of the myth where Arthur pulls the sword from the stone proving he is the true heir of Uther Pendragon.
