A story of intense concentration. Myself, I don't know how (why) people allow themselves to get so lost in texting in crowded and possibly somewhat dangerous public places. Just seems like a good way to get rolled. At least with a phone call you can kinda keep your eyes peeled, at least a little bit. I am sure she has no idea you are even there and yet within two steps you could be right on top of her. Kinda creepy in a way. Well done, look at that, you drew a lot of thought out of me

You are correct! A lot of phones get stolen here in NYC, especially if they are iPhones. If I have to, I usually check my surroundings before I use mine.
