This is too 'messy' for my liking, but I bet you enjoyed making it!

Interesting, I wonder how it might be in square format. I think often abstract images seem to work better in square format. I think wide encourages the eye to go from (at least for me) left to right; whereas square encourages the eye to start at the center and then traverse around the square. What do you think? Bob O

Most of what I create conforms to an aspect ratio for canvas or larger scale gallery quality prints, I have pondered the prospect of square aspect ratio but it never quite makes as bigger impact on the wall as say A3, A2 or A1 after further post work, that is unless it's a very large scale then it tends to limit the composition subject even if it's in that larger scale. Also I think the subject matter makes a difference too, if it's a head portrait it can work or if the central part of the composition is to be the sole focus of the whole composition it may work too for example the isolated fractal works. Any work on here is bound to fail in some degree because of the physical limits of how much of a piece can be viewed at once, for example I put the Mega Zoom option in mainly to try and compensate for this even though peoples monitors are between on average 19" to 22", I use a 26" monitor, some may use larger TV/Monitor hybrid too.. probably the cheapest way of getting larger screen sizes. or else most will need to pan around the works or they snap to a reduced size conforming to the aspect ratio of the composition. Some people still use square monitors which would obviously favour a square aspect ratio. Many of the Mega Zoom format are between 4 to 6 megs in size.

As effectively suggested ,I zoomed the image and brought it to life. It was a very worthwhile decision and a treat for the eyes.
