Description
Near the small town of Union Creek, there is a very short interpretive trail along the Rogue River Gorge. The volcanic gorge is very narrow & the water coursing through it makes for a very powerful display of natural forces. The section depicted here is just past the end of the trail where the Rogue River first enters the gorge.
I used a Perfect Effects 8 HDR filter on this image to add more drama & intensity. This set of filters is available for free for a few days (until Jan 28th) & I posted a thread today in the Photography Forum with a link to where you can download it. Check it out if you're interested...

That water is so lovely; the colours are wonderful. I've been to several spots along the Rogue in the past, it's gorgeous in all its parts. I'll bet falling on those rocks could really do some damage!
