I was looking through photos from last summer, and ran across this little surprise! I don't remember seeing this little mansion nestled in the tree roots among the mosses when I took this picture! The Wee Folk of the Hollow play these little tricks on me sometimes.
It was Danise's Birthday several days back, and I missed it. Good thing I happened to be looking at my calendar and spotted it. So belatedly Dear d'Nice .. may this year bring you joy, may sorrows not linger, may sunshine follow you.
Photo from the Hollow, the little mansion a "dust collector" from home, combined in PSP, and a little bit of playing with filters.
It is bitter cold here again, winds are rip-snortin', and we are under another storm watch. Hope this one passes us by too. We've been lucky that mostly we've only caught edges of storms. Hope you are all warm and cozy and safe.

I always suspected that the Hollow had hidden places, but this castle is astounding. Who would have thought that deep within the forest of the Hollow, that the Gentry would have built such a magnificent edifice. Great image, Rita and an even more phenomenal discovery!!!!!.

Ha Ha, ok with me, but you gotta talk to the Woodland Folk. I don't think anyone's living there right now, so they might agree to rent it to you for the season, grins. Um .. you might have to take a bite of a shroom, or something like that, to make you small enough to move in.
