Well it was either replace my 15 year old car or get a new camera. Wex Photographic had interest free credit over 2 years, so the car will just have to survive to 17!!

recently one of these giant birds flew right in front of me as I was driving over a small creek bridge. when I seen it I hit my brakes and honked my horn. it was directly in front of my windshield, but it manged to climb striking my window with only it's feet. I turned around to see if it had landed and possibly injured. I did not find it but as I was driving away I seen it fly over the road much higher. I had no idea if it's feet were injured they look huge seeing them like this but directly in front of your window they look like an ostrich size bird superb capture. very sharp
