Description

U can see how the snow can get very high drifts here in the country with winds up to 30 miles but this was Fridays pic with most of it blown but we are getting slammed as of now and bringing the coldest temps yet could reach a low of -24 the worst yet and that is not wind chill temp.

Very cool mineral, though when I first saw the thumbnail, I thought it looked like a piece of steak. I love snow in small quantities, not so much when it gets to be a problem or a danger & when accompanied by temperatures below zero...

soooo special, your ability to photograph and share the earth's glorious bits of beauty...now the snow...that's another story... eeeeek and brrrrr!!! I can't imagine! Here in So. Cal, our weather has "righted itself" to the more normal WARM and storm-less winters...so I guess your getting WORSE storms now... "I sorry".... know it's not "my" fault but still... the "el nino" or "el nina" or something has changed again... sigh. SYMPATHIES!
