Description

Something a little different... Just can't focus on anything too serious, been watching too much "news" on television and it's got my blood up. I just listened to some moron talking about how raising the minimum wage would destroy our economy.. what the &*^%? He then went on to say that only teenagers work at fast food joints and they spend their money on partying... Tell that to the moms and pops I know who work in those crap jobs, trying to support a family on 8.20 an hour. So I turned the channel just in time to hear one of our congressmen say this. "Wind is a finite resource and harnessing it would slow the winds down which would cause the temperature to go up". This guy is Chairman of the House-Senate Energy Conference Committee. All I could do was hold my head and say Oh My God... We deserve what we get when we are so idiotic as to elect these moronic fools to govern our country. Gods Help Us All.

Gorgeous image. This is excellent art work. I love all the elements used to bring this to life. And wow on that comment. I've heard some pretty ignorant stuff before, but that wind comment has to be near the top. I remember some time ago, another congressman talking about taking gray wolves off the endangered list so they could be hunted and culled and his justification was "we can't have nature running wild!" Ya know, I didn't vote for these morons, it's just that morons go and vote and those with a brain seem to be too lazy.

I agree with you 100%. Why the idiots keep getting elected is beyond me. What is that old saying about inmates running the nuthouse?

Cool idea and realization, super work man......I hear you 100% loud and clear man, we're doomed what passes for knowlege, common sense and comprehension in our so called leadership is unbelievable. That's just Jawdropping about harnessing the wind for energy will slow the winds, mindboggling...kinda suprised someone doesn't counter with OhNo, what happens is all those Whirlygig Wind Generators speeds up the rotation of the earth and warms the planet through Friction....Creationists denying Darwinism and how the Universe was created, ignoring fact and embracing fiction....we're doomed Stupidity Rules Supreme, aw man now ya got me bummed. LoL just kidding I already know weez in a Heap O Trouble, have been for a long time....one thing that helps keep me sane is having a pile of TV Bricks(Nerf Bricks) I bought years ago after I got so pissed I shot Glen Beck right between the eyes, unfortunately he was just on TV, whenever you see some jerkoff Ploitico or so called expert Academic talkin out their ass you can bombard the TV with Sponge Bricks, cheaper, quiter and actually does make you feel a little better afterwards... Peace Bro

So some of these folks need to be sitting down when we explain to them that despite all appearances to the contrary the earth revolves around the sun (not the son) and the earth is not flat. Baby steps. That wind thing would be funny if it were not so frightening. What makes it more scary is that there are many educated individuals who are shall we say "in denial". Explain that one. Very depressing. I think I'll head to the fridge for one more before turning in. Interesting image by the way.

I only can agree, and laughed at that quote about the wind :) - what you said is so true. About that matter, you'd LOL big times if you could see about our current president, here in France. Thank you for the credit btw, interesting steampunk artwork Seth :)

Wonderful work and solid commentary. Your take on our Political elite is so true. Statements like you mention are common place and these ruling class "Law Makers." They truly think they are profoundly selling this garbage. Well they are in a sense because they have rigged the system so that they can continually get reelected through breeding ignorance, intolerance, or fear. . Still I think the winds of change are blowing our way. In every instance where corrupt empires have fallen into the trap of greed and indifference they have collapsed because of their own internal rot. Some it took 1000's of years, some less than a decade. It remains to be seen if we even make 300 years. Anyways, keep the faith and keep yourself a human being.

Amazing render my friend, love the contrast and there's something so scary and mysterious about a mime. Nothing is more scary and seeing greed overcome need 25 million kids go to bed hungry and we wasted $5 trillion on illegal wars started by all yeah. The same guys that don't want to fix anything They want everything to stay the same so that the same 400 families can continue to rip off the rest of us Unfortunately statements like that are becoming the norm like was said above the wind of change is in our favor and elite ultra rich are running scared of the masses. Great post. Render as well as comment Excellent.

You should hear the political morons here in South Africa. And in Britain. And Australia. And.... With one exception in in ten thousand, politician = moron. Full stop. (That being said, the wind statement above must take the cake for one of the most idiotic things I've ever heard. Clearly scientific education, world wide, is having no impact at all.) Great image, by the way. Her hobble-dance should be entertaining...

That's such a surreal, gorgeous image! And I am always surprised at how little our congresscritters seem to know--things that even a little reading on the Internet would make them legislate much more intelligently. Australia has a much higher minimum wage than we do, and not only did the world not end, they missed most of the Great Recession the US had. In Japan WalMart workers are paid much better (and they have health insurance) and the stores are clean, beautiful and pleasant places to shop.

In each country, the same seems Sh ... to be. Also in G. is at minimum wage, energy policy, pensions, etc. a lot of talk and not happening. But apparently there is no money. But I would have a solution. Distributed by those who have more than 100, 000 a month, the rest to those who need it. etc.. where it is needed. Your picture is a excellent work, dear Seth.
