My mom was always doing this. I think she was doing something wrong though because we never ended up with an avocado tree, lol. Your capture brought back some good memories, thanks for that.

I agree.. when not combined with another taste it isn't pretty to eat, but... combined with banana and yoghurt it is delicious and very very healthy

This does bring back memories. I love avacado's. Though I have never had much luck growing trees this way. I usually just stuck the seeds in a pot of dirt and lots of water and it worked.....lol. Nice job.

I hope you have better luck than I do at getting this to grow. I have tried this many times and never got even a tiny bit of growth. I look forward to the series. And I love avocado, plain or in a salad or sandwich. Yummy!

I've done this a number of times; I think to get a tree with fruit you have to graft it, though, farther down the road. Good luck! And I love avocado on sandwiches and in guacamole.
