Description

The young Val'Kyree was sent to this far away world by her commander on a normal spirit extraction. It is turning out to be anything but normal. There is supposed to be a noble soul, but all she finds are the burnt out husks of a great battle. No spirit to return to Valhalla, only destruction and ruin. There is also a lingering stench, a dark taint upon the land that she has never felt before... This is super-fantastic! I like the rubble, the husks of the giant machines behind her and the way you have her moving through that ominous landscape. The little snippet of story is enough to give us a glimpse into this world, and add to the stories that churn in the imagination over an image like this. Fabulous work, RF!

Fantastic image. I really smell the beginning of an epic tale here. Hel herself has been stealing the noble souls to create her own army to carve out a new niche in the universe for herself. Or maybe to just lure Odin out and take him out. Many possibilities, including good ole' Loki.
