Description

My beautiful Hattie or Hat Tats. She so loved to swim & she ALWAYS had a tennis ball either in her mouth or very close by. One day she was swimming in that lake & suddenly took off after the ducks, as you can see it is quite a big lake & when she got so far out that she actually looked like one of the ducks I started to panic & looked around to see if there was anyone about that I could ask to go & swim out to her :o) Silly me, she was a very strong swimmer & was soon on her way back. Hattie, lived until she was just over 15, my girl in a miillion I called her, we had so much fun together. Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

Such a lovely girl :) Maya has never swam in her life. Each time we get her to water she goes into reverse gear! Even walks around puddles !

Obviously very emotional and fond memories of her, it's so important to enjoy one's dogs and cats or any beloved pet to that matter whilst they are with us because time never stands still... goes for human's too... can be gone in the blink of an eye.

That is a lovely story about Hattie and an excellent photo too. Fifteen is a long time in 'dog' years!

It's true, no matter how long ago they passed, they always live on in our hearts. Leya does not like water at all. Yet she is fascinated by the creek, so I suspect she will be in there one of these days, swimming, giggles.
