Description

As the first glimmer of light hits the wetlands all the birds begin to wake from their slumber. It may well be the early bird that gets the worm but it's the even earlier photog that gets the birds. The birds I can see in this shot are; 12 Great Cormorants 6 Pelicans 3 Black Kites 1 Australian Darter 1 Little Pied Cormorant 1 Black Faced Ibis (at the back of the log pile) 1 Little Egret (hiding in the tree camera left) Camera: Cannon 5Dii Lens: 100/400L + 2x TC Thanks for your kind words and comments on my previous images.
