Description

Vorgol's search of the ship revealed that he was the only survivor. The galley was well stocked with food, but the water tanks had been badly damaged in the crash, and the communications centre was so badly wrecked that he could not be sure that the automated distress signal was operational. Even if it was, the nearest ship was weeks away... This is a re-working of an image I did last year (see here), but was never really happy with. I also edited the story snippet. Excellent scene, perfectly fits the narrative. (One minor quibble, though: The stratified layering on the terrain looks almost as though it's applied to the world space, rather than the space of the terrain geometry. Could be a coincidence...) Well done!
