Description

Friday last I got a nice surprise, I got my Alienware MX 17 laptop from my College after completing the first two Units, on loan until the end of the year and if I pass my Diploma in Digital & Interactive Games I get to keep it...WOOHOO !!! Been super busy installing all the software for the course and learning Windows 8, which just upgraded itself to Windows 8.1 and not to mention my studies Had a major hiccup and had to re-make my first landscape level using the Unreal engine 3 Editor, tried to do something really advanced and messed up...bugger ! Anyhow, back to study for me, so take it easy friends and to Infinity and beyond ! Cheers jif3d :o)

see, m'friend... this is the thing.... you've been doing graphics and anims for a long time, and so there is no "if" when it comes to passing.... for years you've been delighting and amazing your brethren (and sistren too) with your work and play... there's this Canadian rock song from the very early eighties called Santa Maria... it's opening ling is "with only fear and good judgement holding us back" you got no fear... and hey look at your friends... what does that have to do with good judgement... ya gots nothing holding you back...

Yeah, that's my son - always barefoot and hair in a ponytail ! LOL first of all - it's always warm here - there is no need for shoes and sox ... secondly, there is never time to visit the hairdresser/barber ... too much studying to do ! and .... you too would turn grey [overnight] if you had an ALIEN hopping on your desk ;P it's all true, would I lie to you ? Sounds fantastic!! A cool laptop and the training!!! Wish I was young enough to retrain. (Old Dog and new Tricks issues. Or so the unemployment agency is telling me. ) Cool work, excellent as always !!!!!!
