Description

Probably should have entitled it "Over the Hill Over Kill." Heh! This is what happens when you add critters into the eco-system! Was thinking about how the early explorers of the American West saw hills and plains covered with buffalo and naturally jumped from there to an "Alien Buffalo" scene. This is the result. You definitely need to zoom this to truly appreciate it. I'm dedicating this to Dinoraul, a wonderful Renderosity merchant who makes the most amazing realistic strange critters; not to mention dinosaurs and other extinct animals, and vegetation. You can find his store here: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?vendor=65979 Thanks, Dinoraul, for giving us such wonderful products to use in our renders. And, while on the subject of thanks, I want to express my appreciation to all of you viewers and commentators for your encouragement and the things I've learned from you. You help me make my art better. Supposed to get bitterly cold tomorrow night with another winter storm for the next couple of days, so I'll be trapped in the house again. Who knows? Perhaps such confinement will result in a new posting. Let's hope! Jeremy CREDITS: Animals: dinoraul's "Yarra" (Renderosity). Plants: Vue 11 Bushes and Weeds.

Fabulous creatures and creation! If I had encountered a herd like this on my way to a new land, I would probably have turned around and headed home. If my ancestors had been in charge of exploring, we would still be in caves.

Those are the ugliest critters ever!! I would be so terrified if I came over THAT hill! :) Oh... so Vue's "eco system" will replicate and place animals on the plane? hmmmm ! :) Really great scene!

That's a lot of critters. No wonder the ground is so barren.
