Description
The art of closing a lock gate, put your bum on the bar ,lean back and push with your feet.
Two sisters and there brother on a boat trip the ladies were shutting the locks and the brother was doing the driving, the cog system is for opening the sluice to let the water out and lower the level in the lock when the boats in they are closed and the water rises lifting the boat to the next level, in this case about 15 to 20 feet.
