Cavanaugh Flight Museum located in Addison, TX, 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas. Largest collection of historical aircraft in the region.

My neighbor when I was growing up was half owner of a Pitts like this. Only white with red stripes. Had a engine that was twice the normal recommended size. It idled faster than their Cesna 170 could fly full throttle. Of course it had the glide ratio of a brick, but you point it in any direction it went like the proverbial bat out of you know where... take off roll was about 100ft. Excellent shot. Thanks for the memories.
