Description

Well, this is just a warm up painting. I am trying to call my muses home from the Bahamas. :) SO I am just playing around these days. Hope you dont hate it too much. Have a wonderful weekend. This friday has been dull, wet, windy and cold outside. I am grateful I have a warm home to feel safe and warm in. Thak you for viewig and commenting :)

You're being a very naughty girl, being down on your work again. Why is it that you don't know how brilliant you are as an artist? It boggles my mind. This is such an engaging piece, with the colors speaking as composition, as well as light and shadow. Mother and child outside their front door ... a theme that can be understood in any language, anywhere in the world. Happiness, contentment, pride, love, familiarity, joy ... you have portrayed so much in such broad strokes! No amount of detail could improve upon what you have created. This is fabulous!
