Description

It is an orange extraction machine. Modern computerized in line extraction systems can handle up to 500 oranges per minute. An entire commercial juice room can be run by one technician as automated systems convey, extract and finish juice from oranges. Oranges are fed into the machine where the juice is extracted where peel, membrane and seeds removed. Display and information found at the Florida s Natural processing plant in central Florida. I did not see this in operation. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

I started thinking of some turbine part of a marine diesel engine cut-away and.......oh.......oranges! Okay, you got me. It would be interesting to find out how it separates orange from peel and seeds.

We sat through the video "tour" just to see the extractor in action but we were disappointed that it was not included in the video!
