Hi, from South Texas.
I like to swim, play cards and play on this computer with all sorts of programs. I am also an avid reader, mostly fiction.
I am glad you stopped by.....hope you will take time to look at my gallery. As a side note, I am honored to have been chosen as Artist of the Month for December 2022. Thanks to all that voted.

Kind of a sad image, because the light and mood is perfect for the intention :)

This is just amazing, Layla! I love the desolate beauty here. I love scenes like this - so many stories untold.

The lighting here is hard to explain except that I think the sun is close to being almost overhead since there is a lack of shadows. But, there is a nice collection of elements making a good composition..

Wonderful use of vegetation...the overall light contrast plays to the title and sets the mood. Nicely done!

I'm just skipping around to get a taste of your pre-AI art. You really covered a lot of ground. This has a real desolate beauty...it's "forgotten" (your title) but it has a gentle intimacy. (There's great beauty in solace in nature, as you must know, coming from s. texas...) I love the rust tones, and that great little home or shed, with the rust-hued roof. And your trees and plants have a painterly quality, as if the colors were applied with a brush. This could be a midwestern scene too, right before a thunderstorm...A beautiful piece. I'll have to visit more of your earlier work...it's beautiful.
