Description
A pretty face but action girl as well. Carla 'B' loved it when we started doing flyball. She picked it up very quickly. The aim of the game is to run out over jumps, press on the ball box, get the tennis ball & come back over the jumps. Then another dog will run. We didn't do it for any competition, just for fun. We did it in my friends paddock & Carla sometimes if the devil was in her returned to me via the ditch, all we saw was mud & sludge being thrown in the air & then she would come to me with the tennis ball in her mouth & smelling rather stinky. That was my Carla 'B', bless her I so miss her. :o)
However after seeing these pics I did stop Carla doing flyball, if you look at the bottom left pic & notice her foot on the box, I felt that the foot would very soon be injured.

Such fond memories... she was clearly a lovely dog and the fond memories of the time you shared with her will continue on forever with wonderful shots such as these four, she certainly was an action dog but then I do believe this Munsterlander breed are very energetic and have to get exercise or they can get a bit cranky indoors?.

Flyball is something Leya might enjoy, but I wouldn't want to have injuries. Carla B looks like she loved doing this, but some dogs get too intense, and I can see an injury happening here. You are Wise Mom to your pups!

What an athlete! Looks like she had a ball (no pun intended!) I always wonder about the agility too. I've seen lots of videos of the dogs falling off the apparatus and some look like they've done serious damage. No matter how much a dog might have fun doing it, I'd be too worried to let them hurt themselves. Collies especially - they just go for it without question :( Tex once cut his paw badly while playing in the garden but he just carried on playing regardless. We only knew about it when we saw all the blood on the patio and then it was a hasty visit to the vets
