Description

This is a quick Carrara render of the aardvark model I made recently with 3D Coat. He he is waiting to be rigged and better-textured. Living in Africa, as a university student working at an ecological research station I used to see these animals on many night trips coming back from visiting friends, but they are difficult animals to see properly due their nocturnal habits and somewhat shy nature. Their burrows and diggings were readily found however, and we would sometimes try to find their neat, dry, compact & dimpled droppings in the loose soil, because aardvark droppings are the perfect gift "for the person who has everything" When looking for photos online to help make the aarvark model made me realise how cute and unusual these animals were all over again.
