Valentine approaching... ;-D back to the day I met 'my' storks, march 27th, 2012 (heard them 1st) word had spread there were wild storks on a nest on the terrain of the bird- & wild animal shelter breaking news... 1st time in 100 years (someone seems to keep track?) that storks were nesting on our 'island' at 1st wanted to call this 'making out' or 'foreplay', but tagging a title doesn't seem to be an option 'here' ;-) already engaged, his ring is white, her's black they seemed to be in love (as you might remember from previous 'I do' & 'romantic encounter' pics -on page 5 & 4 of my gallery-. 2nd pic shot shortly before 'hop on' & 'up!') he is playing with her feathers... the 'romantic' soft focus effect is not a filter -ahem-, but me shooting r through fences or bushes (while standing on my toes) later on -while thinking about crates, ladders, ??- I discovered 'this': http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=3FMYEUZU#TGRXPGRM (you ought to be careful what u wish for! ;-D) very handy, but outrageous!!! tsss our guess would be 1 of those bird watchers, who are known to do the weirdest things?? (n carrying pincers in their pockets??? :-O). at 1st it was 'just' 1 small hole, wide enough to stick a lens through. (shot those pics for C., who was in charge of the b.shelter) TYallSM for your wonderful comments (& fav.s!) on previous pics!! wayyyyy behind on commenting, SORRY!!! (things got a bit hectic here)

Excellent pics of the courting couple!! I agree .. more Stork Pics would be a good thing. No, I'm not from Oz, live in "upstate New York", closer to the Pennsylvania side of our state. The temps I mentioned are in Fahrenheit because I was too lazy to find a F to C calculator (: .
