As a boy I wandered field and mountain, desert and ocean, forest and the icy reaches at the top and bottom of our world, and each place I found was another mystery waiting for me to discover. One day I found a silver doorway set into the side of a tall mountain. There were such detailed carvings of moons and planets and stars and all those things beyond our own small planet that I pulled the door open without hesitation, and within was the infinite apeirogon. I traveled the apeirogon on the back of a moonbeam I had rescued from the Land of Shadows. In time, I came to the Crystal Universe, and there I live to this day, writing of all I have seen.

I'm offended by your commentary, the War of 1861 been over for some time. My relative fought with the 5th regiment of the New Hampshire Volunteers. He was killed at Fredericksburg by southern forces, he left a wife and two young sons. Yet you don't see me writing, seems to me these Confederate Boys are the best kind of Reb; you can shoot them over and over again. Good people on both sides were killed and maimed. Insensitive remarks such as these infuriate me.

The re-enactment was a lot of fun for both sides. The commentary continues along in the vein of the re-enactment. There is nothing whatsoever in my commentary that can be remotely considered offensive. You are stretching hard to twist the context of the commentary to something offensive. You're a great guy and maybe you just had a bad day, lighten up.

lol sorry about the comment above. anyway these people is keeping all this stuff in the minds of people so it will not happen again. I know you mean no hurt. It happen in the past and nothing can be done about it. just do not believe in lies like slaves was the reason the war was fought. no it was to keep the union together. They had northern states that still had slaves Maryland, Delaware, Ky, Missouri. and DC also. Lincoln say plain as day in his speech as the states started to divide. It was to keep the union together . Southern writers say slave was on the way out as they saw it was bad also. They wanted state rights and saw the Fed government was taking they rights away. But people like to believe a lie more that the true. These shots is very good.

Well, this is great shot, excellent images, and I think both sides suffer with the civil war, they are called fratricide.

Seems to me that this is the best kind of war .. a reenactment .. both sides can shoot each other over and over again, and no one dies. It seems that some northerners and southerners still hold on to the old hatreds .. the old divisions. I think we all had people that died in various wars .. I could probably trace my heritage back to when Christians "invaded" my country of origin, and killed my people in the name of ... well i'll just leave it there. what i'm saying is that many people died needlessly in the name of Christ, The Union, the Confederacy, both sides of any war you can think of. It's history, learn from it, don't wallow in it. Your pics are awesome, I especially like the little drummer boy!
