Description
Ultra Fractal 5.04 (four-layers used with two of them allocated to Damien's Glyph programme).
You'll need some imagination to see a Union Jack minus the Scottish element but humour ought to over-ride clinical accuracy. Later this year there is to be a referendum in the northern parts of the UK to see if they prefer independence, and thus the title.
The image was intended for the UF List but the size of the two Glyph layers seems to have successfully contended against this. My thanks to Kerry Mitchell for giving consent for this alternative venue to be used.

You misunderstand Greywolf. It is a referendum of the Scottish people to see if they want independence. The rest of the UK are largely bystanders although no doubt there will be some lobbying by unionists from England and Ulster (the Welsh probably don't have a dog in the hunt). I haven't lived in Scotland since 1981 or in UK since 1997, so although still very Scots, and although I visit every year, I feel no right to take part. Unfortunately people like Sean Connery who has spent even longer out of the country in foreign tax haven's (he vehemently denies tax avoidance of course) doesn't share my scruples.

I say give Scotland her independence once and for all, and be done with this nonsense. (spoken from the safety of Northern California). And while I'm at it, unify Ireland!
