Description

This is the first of two pics taken in quick succession of a jackal catching his breakfast. The sand grouse come in their hundreds to drink every morning and is the main source of food for the local jackals. I can almost hear the flapping as they try to escape; you'd think they would learn that the jackal hunts there, wouldn't you? Oh well, such is nature...wonderful capture!!
