Description
Giant worms can be found on numerous planets and while incredibly dangerous they are only found in desert regions. They attack anything that moves on the surface above and are nearly invulnerable to all but the heaviest weapons. Not much is known about their habits or reproduction or even their life spans though some have been noted by scars as being thousands of years old. World recorded as being populated with Giant Worms are marked with hazard buoys and IGFW colonists are discouraged from establishing outposts on such worlds.
