Description

Salix caprea, often called Pussy Willow. I'm happy so far with the Tizzzy 25's ability to do macro. It performs remarkably well!

Gorgeous shot of the pussy willows. I would like to add, the camera may perform very well, but the artist behind the lens is why such fantastic photos are created. Thanks for sharing your talent. :)

What a superp macro this is, Andrea. Wonderful shot indeed. How is this camera when there is bright sunshine. Can you see anything on the display? I have difficulties doing that on my Galaxy camera. I simply cannot see what I am shooting. Unfortunatle there are almost no point and shoot cameras with "view lense" (or what you call it), anymore.

It's ok in the sun, I can't use a viewfinder any more as my sight is often poor. I don't always look closely at what I photo, I just make sure it's pointing in the right sort of direction and press the shutter.

Ya see? Even helanker has the same problem using a point-and-shoot camera without a viewfinder as I have, especially looking toward the sun. I hope your Tizzy 25 has better bokeh with macros than my Panasonic DMC-ZS8 (same as your Tizzy 18). My macros are severely lacking in that area. I got better macros with my old inexpensive Canon point and shoots. Oh, almost forgot, fine closeup of the pretty pussy willows, A.

the Tizzy25 does wonderful work with your guidance! Love this willow shot with the catkins and shunshine .. sigh .. a few more months before we begin to see these.

Nice macro , we have a willow outside the house where we park the car it keeps the sun off in summer but when the catkins drop the car disappears under a pile of fluff. For those who can't see there screen you may be able to buy a flip up screen/ sunshade or make one out of black card.

I'm so glad to be back and viewing your art again, A. Your gallery over the past few weeks that I've been gone has been stunning! I started at the beginning and looked at every picture. After about the first two, I thought, "gosh ... she must have a new camera!" By the time I got to this one I was sure of it, and your comment here put my mind at rest. This is an absolutely spectacular shot, and your Tizzy25 is a treasure! The TZ2 and TZ3 were certainly more than adequate, but this 25 is a cut above. I'm not going to comment on everything in your gallery, but I DID look at them all. What a lovely hour or so I've spent romping through your recent work!
