Many thanks to those of you who checked in to make sure we were all right! :) We're done with our project, and I've got loads of pictures to show you. We've been thinking about being snowbirds (spending summers in the north and winters in the south), and the perfect opportunity presented itself last month. We purchased a small mobile home in south Texas, and have been painting and moving in. It's about 700 square feet. Kitchen in the front, living room in the middle, bathroom down the hall, and bedroom in the back. There's a 10x16 addition that was their utility room, and we've turned it into our den. This place is only about 50 or 60 square feet smaller than what we had in Washington, but it's a whole lot bigger than the motorhome! LOL! Bill flew to Seattle at the end of January and supervised the process of loading our stuff into the moving van, and while he was gone I took down all the kitchen cupboard doors and started painting. Everything arrived safely (one piece of art had broken glass, but the art is okay), and we're finally done moving in. Here's what the place looked like before we started working.
