Description

Little One is all alone and scared .. and the moon came up and she began to howl .. MOM MOM where are you?? Mom was already on her way home from the hunt. Mom was clever to hide her Little One inside these old Bison bones, the perfect den. The cub and the wolf are JaneEden's from her Wolfpack2, found at https://www.yurdigital.com/catalog/content-developers/janeeden The bones are an Apo fractal. Well, we had a couple of lovely days in the 40s F, and I think that's a bit over 4C. We had rain mixed with snow, thunder and lightning, and high winds. It's to get cold again. Winter in Western New York. Bah Humbug. And I normally like winter. Hope you are all warm and cozy and dry. Many thanks for all the lovely comments on the previous post

fantastic composition almost allegorical, as if the mother had hidden her offspring huntress in a very secure local may be the skeletal carcass of a victim of a previous feast ... the pale light of the moon may better highlight spectral whiteness of these bare bones, than the dark fleece young cub!

I just want to hug little wolf... mom might not like that. I used to go out to the wolf refuge and sit with the wolves. You would amazed at how big they are. I loved it when the big white one would come over and put her head down for an ear scratch.

Awww what a lovely tale of love between a mother and her cub, and how clever the mother was too. Wonderful composition and love the way you used a fractal too, superb image Rita, thank you so much for using my painted wolves I am so pleased you like them. hugs Jane xx

Beautifully done, Rita. Really a coincidence of sorts, earlier today i was discussing family history with some friends. And I remarked how my ancesors were from the Balkans. We then discussed the origins and evolution of family names, and I mentioned how my Grandfathjer had been referred to, in the Albanian language, as " The Wolf".Then wolves began to appear everywhere Animal Planet, Comercials on TV even Pop Music. Now this delightful image appears on my screen. Must be the magick of the Hollow! Excellence, my friend!!!!!

I seen a survival expert showing how to survive in extreme conditions. he found the carcass of a large animal that a predator had recently killed. anyway he proceeded to remove the innards and crawled into the carcass to protect against the very cold temperatures at night in the desert and also from treacherous sand storms. when I seen this I recalled the show outstanding work on this
