At first I thought the scene was a remarkable dof experiment: the book being a bed and Alice a normal size woman standing in between the knocked over glass on the table and the bed. Upon closer inspection an entirely different scene came into view. Down the rabbit hole we go. Excellent and intricate piece of work.
