His comment got me to thinking...My conclusion back in 1975 was that, starting with Richard Nixon & Henry Kissinger, and succeeding politicos, the American people generally, and the military specifically, were sold out, and it continues to today.
We Americans have too short memories when it comes to National Elections!

personally, I thought that a TNW was the way to go and let everyone else figure out what to do with a glass parking lot... then again, napalm was a good answer as well, just not enough of it was used up north. it was congress that ran that war along with big business! Sorry about the soapbox!
