Description

Vue8Frontier/Sculptris/Photoshop/Photoscape3.5 A speciment collected by famed inter-galactic explorer Sir Rodney Roundbottom...a denizen of underground caverns,living in almost total darkness. So named for it's ability to move from one body of water to another by using it's flippers and tail to move in a hopping fashion,and for it's horn-like sensory organs. It feeds on the submerged dead bodies of other cave inhabitants,as well as small crustaceans . Creature sculpted in Sculptris,textured in a custom material with SSS selected,rendered using global radiosity(all within Vue8 Frontier).Postwork in Photoscape involved a vignette effect,in Photoshop I added text and signature and resized image. Next up is rigging this in Carrera so that I can pose it in a Vue scene. Thanks for taking the time to view,and for any comments!

Sweet! Evokes the face huggers of Alien or head crabs of Half Life. Should be an adventure rigging this one! Looking forward to the resulting image(s).
