Description

Ken done an outstanding job on modeling this. I am painting it, but his software names some funny names for the various components. I have figured out most. I always thought the modeler was naming the different parts, but now I know better . thanks Kenmo

Lot easier to do in Daz because you can select a surface and the color outline appears around it! I also thought that some models had specific part names but dosen't have to be! Then again i'm a real loser when it comes to understanding Poser so maybe it can do the same thing! Nice color choices so far!

Looks like you're enjoying the panel truck. I modeled it in Hexagon and named the shading domains there. I also used UV Mapper, Photoshop and DAZ Studio for texturing.... Cheers

I just brought the Panel Truck obj into Daz Studio and than Vue 2014 Complete and both show the model parts you were asking about as follows.... "front clip" is the front fenders "panels" are the truck sides "roof" is the roof "visor" is the visor "vent" vent on cowl Cheers

Looking cool! Daz Studio lets you rename everything in program not sure about Poser. I'd imagine it would have similar functionality.

You can rename and regroup it all in UV Mapper Pro quite easily without touching the existing mapping.

Very cool panel truck! I have the greatest respect for anyone who can model something like this in Hexagon..... It's easy to use, but all it seems to do for me is crash.... :-P

Nice teamwork. It's not always easy to repaint a 3D model ! You're doing great
