Lovely image. I like how the clarity varies from left to right. If it wasn't for the modern car, one could imagine this being from 100 years go. Beautifully done.

Mark, this is simply another stunning capture you've decided to share with us today. I really enjoy the photos from you're region of the city, it's as if you know every place to go for an ideal photo. This one is a perfect example, as it is clear to capture the mysterious atmosphere in this setting one would have to know the right time of day to go here when the lighting is just right.

This has such a dry, parched look - like every bit of moisture has been sucked out of it & it would crumble to dust if you poked it with your finger. A shame that the one car was parked there, as I agree with dragonmuse that otherwise it has a timeless quality to it. As you said, very intense - & also very original & creative...

One of those cross-the-room to see it closer images in your inimitable style, Mark. It is such an attractive photo, so skillfully made. Quite a nice building, too, for someone with enough dosh!

OHHH! One of these wondershots I love so much. Razor sharp. The light is simply fabulous and the reflections on the car window is awesome. The gentle shadows on the wall stones. Well, I just love everything about this shot and what you did to it. Full view is a MUST. Congratulations, dear Mark.

Fantastic capture and motif, Mark. My choice is to look straight through the new car :) You live in a very beautiful neighbourhood, when it comes to architecture. This building is evidence of that fact. I love the rustic appearance. Not sure if it is granite.. it could look like sandstone. Fantastic details on that building. A shame they do not build them like that anymore. It would probably cost a fortune, to make in 2014.

Wonderful light and shadow in this photo, bringing out the amazing detail in the architecture of that building. Feels like a bright spring day ... and inviting reminder of what's to come.

Wait a minute, I need my sunglasses....wow, this is in-your-face bright and gorgeous! The lines of the building are so elegant and graceful, accentuated by the sinuous curves of the tree trunks, and all of it washed with all that pure white light. You rock!

Wonderfully sharp focus revealing the contrast of nature versus old building fronts along with the lovely light and shadow effects, Mark. The sturdy trees appear to be growing at an angle in their quest for sunlight. Either that or they are losing their battle for space with the building.
