Description
from Interstate 35 "east bound and down". remember the song by Jerry Reed?
my water heater went out yesterday leaking water. I got a man to install a new one today for $1200.00. I installed the last time, but I do not feel like lifting the old one or new one
$1200 is a lot of money

Yes it sure is a lot of money! Same price as we pay for a heater here in Holland. Good luck with installing the new heater.... Nice photo :)

There's a lot of concrete used to build those structures....

Our water heater went out last week. It is a smaller one and thank goodness hubby could fix it. $325. Those roads in Dallas/Ft. worth make me dizzy. LOL

Exellent shot.

Great shot! Just realized, why doesn't the architects and engineers put some color in the concrete, or does it have to be that monchromatic everywhere!!! Green maybe, as a placebo for the eye!

Lovely shot POV Richard, as for the $1200 that would have brought a lot of content for poser ;-)

I always install my own water heaters and for old neighbors who do not want to get taken advantage of by plumbers. You are right $1200.00 dollars is an awful lot of money. I could not see how a plumber could charge that much for a few hours work unless they were greedy and dishonest and had far to high an opinion of themselves. I could have come down there and put in for you for less than that. LOL

It's nice to see a new view of something we take for granted! Water heaters aren't cheap, but a new one may save you lots of money if your old one wasn't super efficient. And you need hot water :D
evielouise
That's what the price would have been 2 year ago when mine went out I mentioned to my son he got it cheaper and replaced it and took out the old one with frank it all came to $750 it's the darn labor ::: but you will have clean water for a long time and softer:
