Description

This is a piece I posted last year that I just reworked for a friend that needed a different size and resolution so she could put it on a canvas in her child's room. It has slight differences, and because of the great response I've had to it I decided to repost the redo and start a series of Skydwellers for the purpose of kids rooms -or whomever likes them of course.. (Its slow going, since becoming a mother has left me with little time for creative pursuits, but if I dont do something I will implode). Hopefully you'll be seeing a similar series of this style soon. I can't take too much credit though, 1971's stuff is sooo brilliant and well crafted. Thank you so much everyone for the comments and support, it really helps spur me on. :)

Great image, but there seems a predominance of warm colors (red, orange). Perhaps the image would be even better if there were some cool colors being added (blue, green etc). An additional couple islands further away might give a further sense of depth, too. Well, guess it's just me... :)

There's actually a bunch of varieties on this picture, some with islands in the background (as well as a series like that) and some with more colors, but this was the one my paying customer wanted :)
