Description

I just uploaded this because when ever I try to do a render with a dragon I get these black spots all over the wings, it doesn't seem to matter what light set I use. It's very frustrating and I was wondering if anyone could tell me why this is happening and what I can do to fix it. Any feed back is appreciated!

Sorry I can't help you with the problem.. It looks like it just has to be like that. They totally do not bother me :))

Does it happen if you use a different texture? I've never paid that close attention to the renders Vincent did when he was playing with the dragon last summer. He had me change the texture on the Blooddrake and I didn't notice any spots &/or see-thru's. That is the extent of my advise. It is a great pose BTW.

This dragon has two surfaces on the wings and they intersect each other--it's why it's sort of cheap at Daz. I just paint them out in postwork, but it's not you doing something wrong! Love the POV!

I did another render and checked off raytracing for the wings, it helped a lot but there still is some traces left of the dark coloring it's not black anymore and I guess I could live with it and paint what's left out. Still would like some in put if anyone knows how to make them disappear for good!

unsure, maybe it's already in the texture. you could use photoshop to work that out.

I think it's the transparency texture. I don't have this dragon, but the wins have one. Nice work BTW.
